1965 Sunbeam Tiger
This 1965 Sunbeam Tiger needed a full restoration after sitting idle many years. It came in green and needed a complete tear down to metal and repaint to the original colour carnival red by Don Dean Collision. It was stripped to bare metal, several panels replaced and fabricated by an expert panel beater. It was then shaped and formed by another expert shaper then painted its original colour. The Sunbeam Tiger has now been completely assembled with mostly new parts. We have payed attention to all the little details.
We installed a 289 v8 with roller rockers and edelbrock aluminum manifold double pump holley carb and 5 speed gearbox. We figure approx. 250 plus horsepower and real nice with the 5 speed gearbox top gear being about.93. It has a hardtop we are painting Ole English white the interior is black with red piping nice little add. I has 15 inch panasports wheels kumho summer radial 195/60 15. Its lower about 2 inches and will have rear master traction bars soon with lots of caster all helps with the over steer, also repositioned the panhard rod on its chassis mount making it as parallel as possible. It sure drives nice. On the interior we did a walnut dash, the original steering wheel cleared heavily and a sweet auto meter tach to match the electronic ignition. Break in period will happen very soon after the body has had its last touches and polish.
